Xavier Roy
Xavier received his PhD in 2011 from the University of British Columbia working as an NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Scholar under the direction of Mark MacLachlan. He went on to do research as a Canada NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University with Colin Nuckolls until he joined the Columbia Faculty in 2013 as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Xavier is the recipient of the ACS PRF (2016) and the NSF CAREER (2018) awards. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018and received tenure in 2020. He was promoted to Full Professor in 2024.
